Rio Grande Train 701 waits to depart the west end of the yard in Phippsburg, Colorado. The train of empty hoppers arrived earlier from Public Service of Colorado’s Cherokee Generation Station in Denver, and will go to the Energy Mine on the Energy Branch. After it is loaded, the train will return to Denver as Train 702.
