AMTK 42 idles inside the premises of Amtrak's Beech Grove Shops on a warm, summer's evening in Indiana. Painted in it's current red, white and blue scheme at these very shops just over six years ago, the 42 finds itself being used to pump air pressure through a string of dead P40's this evening that have recently been sold to Larry's Truck & Electric. In the background, a wrecked AMTK 89 waits its chance to enter the shop to be repaired.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
