| Reading and Northern's Budd RDCs have just left Jim Thorpe as they pass the massive bridge construction project just outside town. This new project will connect the railroads ex CNJ Nesquehoning Branch with the former CNJ main. This line connects to their ex Lehigh Valley Mainline at CP Coal on the other side of the Lehigh River. The new bridge will in theory create a full mainline for the railroad between the Reading and Scranton areas. |
