Beautifully decorated with sunflowers, the blazon of Switzerland and the flags of canton Uri ans Valais, steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 1 "Furkahorn" of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (built in 1913 by the SLM Winterthur for the Brigue-Furka-Disentis Railway) is ready to pull the inauguration train for the last leg Gletsch-Oberwald of the Furka mountain line, standing on the turntable of Realp DFB depot. This locomotive was brought back from Vietnam to Switzerland in 1990 and is operational again since 1993 (rebuilt in Meiningen/Germany with new boiler).
