An eastbound BNSF manifest freight passes by Amtrak’s Winter Park Express ski train tied down in the siding at Fraser, Colorado, on January 20, 2018. The 2018 edition of the WPE utilized Amtrak’s “Phase I” heritage unit No. 156 as one the the locomotives, with the power running around the train at Fraser due to the wye at Tabernash being out of service.
