| Since a few months, the new haevy dual power (Electro/Diesel) shunter Aem 940 of Alstom are in the tests for replacing the "old workhorse" Am 6/6 in the Limmattal shunting yard. Aem 940 # 003 in service of "Loc 42", can be seen on the double hump, after shoving a long row of freight cars from the entrance group to and over the hump. When shoving cars over the hump, the locomotives are remote controlled from the computer in the signal box. |
