| CSXT uses the Buckingham Branch Railroad to move alot of their empty type trains from Richmond to Clifton Forge. This allow CSXT to keep eastbound loaded trains running via the flatter James River and westbound empties running via the BB over the 2 mountain ranges. Here an empty coal train running on the BB's Piedmont Sub crosses the CSXT RF&P Sub at Doswell. This crew did a good job of messing around enough that the nice light went away. The crew is working over the diamond between 2 northbound Amtrak's on the RF&P, but the crew isn't too worried about that. |
