| On 30 May 1992 passenger traffic on the Solothurn-Herzogenbuchsee line was discontinued. Nevertheless, the entry of "antique" passenger trains into Herzogenbuchsee station could still be observed regularly. Here, on 16 September 1992, the additional train No. 5638 Olten-Herzogenbuchsee (and back) was running with the Ae 3/6 I 10690 and light steel carriages ("Leichtstahlwagen"). The train was only running from Monday to Friday.
