The station Furka DFB on 2160 meter a.s.l. is in the lonely upper part of the Furkareuss valley, about 260 meter below the Furka pass summit of the road (2429 meter a.s.l.) Up at the road there are some buildings, one is the Restaurant "Furkablick". You can see some smoke coming out from the summit tunnel of the railway on the left. In the station is the "Blue Train" 134 from Oberwald to Realp with the HG 3/4 # 1 "Furkahorn". From the right is nearing the station the red "Gletscher Zug" 139 with HG 2/3 # 6 "Weisshorn" for the crossing.
