| Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 1 "Furkahorn" of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) is crossing the Sidelenbach bridge with the "Blue Train" 157 from Realp to Oberwald, on a grade of 11.0 %. The locomotive was built in 1913 by the SLM Winterthur for the Brigue-Furka-Disentis Railway (BFD), ran later for the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO), was sold to Vietnam in 1947 and brought back to Switzerland in 1990. Operational again since 1993 after revision in Meiningen/Germany. |
