Remarks & Notes
Conrail train ALCA (Allentown, PA – Camden, NJ) rolls through Valley Junction on the west side of Reading, Pennsylvania. The track in the foreground is the connection for Philadelphia trains to access the Lebanon Valley line to Harrisburg, while the third leg of the wye, used to connect Allentown and Harrisburg, can be seen beyond the boxcars on the siding.
