| A stout, wooden tie that once supported heavy trains rolling over steel rails is now holding up just a few barbed wires and fencing—and planted into the soil vertically like the tree it once was—standing on an earthen rise overlooking tonnage trundling over Wyoming’s Logan Hill. Another train approaches in the form of a Union Pacific coal empty heading north for more loads of coal on June 22, 2019. |
