| Engineer Mike Tallent and Conductor Mitchell Hicks shove a loaded T700 up Duff Mountain grade in rural north Tennessee. They're barely making the rail as the wet day has caused the lead engines on the coal drag to work like an uphill slip n' slide all the way to the summit at Kilsyth. They are crossing over the Davis Creek trestle well above road height. Spring has clearly made its presence felt with the greenery springing to life all along the route. |
