Keepin' it movin'. MTA NYCT Subway Mantis Crane 263 leads as a work train enters the 34 Street-6 Avenue Station on the morning of Saturday, July 20, 2019. This kind of equipment was designed to fit into tight clearances like the New York City Subway system, and makes it possible to work to keep the infrastructure in a state of good repair under adverse circumstances. A train operator on the point watches the signals for the diesel engineer in the rear.
