This funny vehicle (in the USA a speeder, in Switzerland called "Draisine") Xmh # 4961 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) with cogwheel drive was built in 1945 for the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) as X # 1031 and came to the DFB in 1988. With a 31 horsepower Volks Wagen motor it is able to run 30 km/h on adhesion and up to 20 km/h on the cogwheel sections. It is used for personnel and supply transports to the construction sites. It is ideal for small operations (road checks, catering transport to construction sites, etc.). Last revision with new paint was in winter 2014/2015.
