Isn't This Putting the Cart Before the Horse?
Some might say so. But while the museum organizes the remaining heavy work to the engine proper, the long-overdue finishing touches on PRR 1361's tender can be taken care of. With the assistance of neighbor Altoona Pipe & Steel, the tender was moved out for a spin on the turntable. After being positioned on track 3, it was pulled out the back of the bay for sandblasting the following week. |
