The CN didn't run this grain train at the greatest time of the day by my place, but local thunderstorms did provide some interesting weather and clouds. This loaded grain train is back on the move at Jesup after waiting on MofW. The train is now working over the CN Dubuque Sub towards the next crew change at Dubuque. Getting a pair of barns together on a unit train has been extremely unusual this year. The train is 16 miles east of Waterloo. This train was loaded at Ida Grove, IA, and is bound for the Gulf. The 2nd cowl unit would setout at Freeport.
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
