Schools....in for summer! Amtrak 706 (P32AC-DM) leads north/west as it departs Manhattan from the east side on Friday, June 7, 2019 and passes through the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx at dusk. Crews that qualified to Grand Central Terminal last year are refamiliarizing with the route. As of now, there are no specific plans for Amtrak service to return to GCT, but crews must requalify annually to maintain their credentials.
