After a brief station pause at Maydelle, Texas State Railroad 2-8-2 No.30 leads a return excursion west towards Palestine, TX. A good percent of the round trip, four -hour, 25 mile line is through a tunnel of trees, but then these are the "Piney Woods" of East Texas!
