| CR 2646, a General Electric U25B has seen better days and is stored at Collinwood on Cleveland's eastside in February 1981. Former Southern Ry. CEO Stanley Crane has taken over the top job at Conrail, and recession year 1981 would mark the beginning of significant changes to the railroad. Locomotives like this would not have much of a future with the company. |
