Remarks & Notes
SEPTA's KLW SE10B No. 80, a re-manufactured 1,050 BHP switcher locomotive from the Knoxville Locomotive Works sits idle at the commuter agency's 1902 Reading built station. The locomotive lead in a series of trips celebrating the 150th anniversary of Borough of North Wales between North Wales and Gwynedd, PA. New Hope & Ivyland's 2-8-0 No. 40, however, was the star of the show, providing the power for each of the 3 return trips. No. 40 can be seen here in a photo by Marc Glucksman. New Hope's EMD GP 30 No. 2198 (along with it's GE C30-7 No. 2198) have also paid visits to the station, along with the line PNE EMD SD40-2 No. 5541 as seen here.
