Amtrak's northbound Southwest Chief, No4 races towards it's next stop of Raton as it makes the posted 79mph a few miles north of Maxwell, New Mexico on May 2, 2019. I have to say, 79mph on jointed rail sure sounded good, that's a sound I wasn't sure if I'd ever hear again.
