Remarks & Notes

With a cough of Alco smoke, unaltered New York Central RS3 5523 heads up Penn Central local freight BX-1 (Boston-Framingham) on the former Boston & Albany line through Weston, MA. In 2019 this part of the B&A is a busy MBTA commuter route, but CSX has pulled out of Boston and there is no longer any regular freight through here.
