Former NP SW1200, BN 156 is paired up with an X-GN switcher at Everett's Delta Yard on a spring-like day in February 1975. It took BN until 1980 to get everything repainted, and then they acquired the Frisco and had more painting to do. Still, that was quicker than the BNSF repaint effort, which still continues 24 years into that merger.
