After the job briefing is completed, CSX Q154-23 (Fairburn,GA-Memphis,TN) is underway at Wauhatchie (MP J-145.7) making the running head start up the south-end of Raccoon Mountain. A very neat surprise come in the form of a pair of CW44AH in the YN2 paint scheme, a wonderful sight even in the world of "Boxcar Logos." On the left your seeing progress in the making, "Yes I said Progress" even in the days of "Precision Schedule Railroading." After years of juggling the idea of expanding the number 2 main from Wildwood to Wauhatchie, it's now a reality. This area that was once full of foliage is now bare, as this is going to be in time a sight full of heavy equipment re-leveling the ground to route a main 2 track to the signal at Wauhatchie. With the main 2 track being place here, that would put a end to a major bottom neck at this location, keeping both CSX, and NS Haulage rights traffic moving while the main 1 track is being use by anyone that is occupying the main soon to be main 1 track. Or I can quote a railroad buddy of mine "A place where they can park another Coal Train!"
