| The moon begins to rise over the Southern Railway caboose X427 as it rests in its new location of Stern Park near the Historic Downtown Opelika area. Over the summer of 2018, this caboose was moved from its former resting place next to the city's railway depot and adjacent NS mainline. Now it stands as the focal point of the newly constructed city park and another attraction for those visiting the lovely railroad town of Opelika. |
