Montana Rail Link’s Helena switch zips over Winston Hill between Louisville and Winston, Montana, on the morning of June 30, 2017. The short two-car local is headed for the lime plant at Townsend and is led by venerable GP9 No. 109 and recently-repainted SD40-2XR (rebuilt SD40) No. 265. The Helena switch works to Townsend which used to be served by the now discontinued 840 local out of Helena.
