SLRG 100 (Iowa Pacific Holdings E9A) spent the night in the Union Pacific's North Yard on its way to join the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad in Walsenburg, Colorado. This engine has had quite the career, having started life in 1949 as an E8A with the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad, then worked with the Burlington Northern, where it was converted to an E9A, then to the Illinois Central Railroad.
