Remarks & Notes
The heart of the Venise Simplon Orient-Express (VSOE) is a set of four magnificent cars, always placed at the middle of the train:
- Restaurant car #4110
- Pullman car #4141
- Restaurant car #4095
- Bar (lounge) car #3674
. On either side of these 4 cars, there is a Service car, carrying some supplies and rooms for the train staff. The Luxurious "Lx" sleeping cars are positionned at each end of the train. They were built in 1929-1930.
All bogies (trucks) are new. They replace the original ones, which is more comfortable for passengers but much less authentic and spoil the beauty of the cars.

The time is gone, the song is over, snapshots and memories remains... Some things we remember, some we see now - and will not forget...
