Remarks & Notes
NS SD80MAC 7207 leads train C47 on the wrong main under the historic PRR signal bridge at Summerhill, PA on a dreary day. This train sported 6 of the foamier Conrail Big Macs for its trip west, three on each end.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service.

The first Wide Cab EMD made. While the GMD SD40-2W technically was the first, this design is seen on EMD SD60Ms, EMD SD60Is, EMD SD70Ms and so forth. This cab design is now replaced by the EMD Wide Cab 2.
