The CSX Troy local, based out of South Schenectady, picks up an empty boxcar from K-C Refrigeration Transport, currently the only active customer on this line. One of their highway moves can be seen on the left. K-C occupies the former New York Central freight house in the old Adams Street Yard. This is the north end of the Troy Industrial and all that remains of railroading in Troy. Troy once hosted 4 railroads (NYC, D&H, B&M, Rutland).
