Remarks & Notes

On my 1978 trip to the Canadian Rockies, I was fortunate to get photos of several "Canadian" consists between Revelstoke and Lake Louise. This might have been my favorite with the FP7-GP9 elephant style lash up. The trains themselves were pretty consistently seven car "winter" consists. Here the train is heading east on top of Kicking Horse Pass near the BC/Alberta border.
