A Santa Fe transfer arrives in the UP/RI yards in Kansas City, KS powered by Alco Alligator no. 9818 and a former RSD 4/5 slug. Meantime UP GP9 no. 237 handles switching chores. Not a car with graffiti on this cool March day in 1972.
