The high speed super-elevated curve through Mapleton, PA was always a great spot to watch traffic with the classic PRR-era signal bridge spanning the right of way. Alas, the signal bridge and position light signals are now gone. NS 9809 leads an eastbound intermodal train through the curve leading toward Jacks Narrows on an autumn afternoon.
