| "M9 Test Train at East Williston"
Long Island Rail Road & Kawasaki Heavy Industry's M9 Test Train makes a simulated station stop at East Williston Station on LIRR Oyster Bay Branch. The six car train is making several runs throughout the LIRR system, testing each function the railcars have to offer. East Williston is the first station on the Oyster Bay Branch and the only one on the line to be electrified. The station sees one scheduled electric westbound train during the morning rush hour but is also used to turn other electric trains when needed. |
