Remarks & Notes
CN, the parent of the Grand Trunk Western and Central Vermont regularly swapped power between the two roads. Here, three SW's have run engine light from St. Albans, VT to Rouses Point. After the demise of the Rutland, CV ran to Rouses Point via Cantic, Quebec over the CN line to Rouses Point. The Rutland and CV had shared the trestle across the top of Lake Champlain using gauntlet track. Not long after this picture the CV quit running to Rouses Point.
