“Bravo·Foxtrot·Oscar·Alpha” Running long hood forward, MEC SD39 693 is leading D&H BFOA eastbound, near the east end of Richmondville siding, in the mid-afternoon of October 26, 1987. Although Guilfordized with the big ‘G’ on the long hood, 693 remains in N&W black paint. This day, BFOA carries a cut of tank cars, covered hoppers, and TOFC, ahead of the usual auto racks loaded with new Ford automobiles.
