On the former New Haven Shore Line, a pair of ex-PRR E8s charge through the Pine Orchard section of Branford, CT, on the point of a Penn Central Boston-Washington train. The cinder platform that I was standing on was a stop for the weekday New Haven-New London local but this "station" is now long gone along with the E-units and conventional coaches.
