Remarks & Notes
NJ Transit Comet V control car 6011 is leading NJ Transit train 1001. GP40PH-2 4100 is tucked between the 6011 and the rest of train, sandwiched between the passenger cars. NJ Transit is now commonly operating a locomotive sandwiched in the passenger train consist, allowing a PTC equipped control car to lead a non PTC equipped locomotive. The 1001 is arriving on the tail end of a white-out snow storm that is ushering the latest Polar Vortex to effect New Jersey.

Cab cars are special built coaches that are heavier than normal and have a cab for push/pull operations. This also includes NPCUs, but not road slugs.
