Remarks & Notes |
This little 0-4-0 engine (NR 7) was built in 1930 by Henschel & Sohn and operated in Denmark. It is narrow gauge (31”) and is a ‘tank engine’, meaning that is carries its own fuel and water on either side of the boiler rather than using an attached tender. The locomotive in 21 feet long and weighs in at 12 tons. The founder of the Forney Museum purchased the engine in 1968 and added the cow-catcher to the front and the spark arresting smoke stack. |
