Remarks & Notes
Amtrak 156 chugs down its final feet of CSX rails, as it prepares to turn out into Amtrak's 1st Street Tunnel (the southern entrance to Union Station) on it's a journey to New York. Snowstorms all around Virginia during the weekend caused 156 to originate in Lynchburg instead of Roanoke.

The GE Genesis series are well known for being Amtrak's locomotive. With confirmation of retirement from Amtrak themselves, their time is limited. Now is your chance to catch them before the chargers arrive!
