"Old Rivets" is fresh out of the Strasburg Rail Road shops after a cosmetic restoration into its 1935 one-of-a-kind "widely-spaced stripes" paint scheme. The locomotive, built by Baldwin/Westinghouse in August of 1934 and retired in 1979, was purchased from Conrail by the Lancaster Chapter, NRHS, and later donated to the museum.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
