2010 and 2011 were disappointing winters for me in terms of my typical Donner trips. In 2012 I was stationed at Langley AFB and I was blessed with the birth of my two sons in that time. All of these factors limited my adventures on Donner. In 2015 I was sent back to the west coast, making my first trip back in 2016. It was one of the best. Not only did it snow and snow, but the rotary even came out for some testing. Backing up, here is one of the examples from the heavy snowfall, where UP 602 works west flanging snow from between the rails.
