Remarks & Notes

The operator and the fireman confer after the train was delayed while the sectionmen cleaned the switches. It will now proceed onto the Napierville Junction to Rouses Point, NY and then on to New York. The D&H borrowed EL E-8's during the winters of 1969 and 1970 to supplement the four PA-1's on The Laurentian and Montreal Limited. Delson was a busy station on the CP Adirondack Subdivision. All CP trains to the East and to the U.S. passed through here. In addition there was a diamond and interchange with the CN and the connection with the Napierville Junction.
