Remarks & Notes 
The two large and powerfull 4-8-2 are passing the hamlet Nierlet-le-Toit on the line Lausanne-Fribourg. Unique double traction of 241 A 65 and 241 P 17 with the charter train "Le Vapeur Swiss Express" from Geneva to Basel. First locomotive is former french railway express train steamlocomotive 241 A 65 (former ETAT 241 001), a four cylinder compound (de Glehn design) built in 1931 by Fives/Lille for the "Chemin de fer de l'ETAT", is coal fired (with stoker) and has about 3500 HP, max. velocity was 110 km/h (today in Switzerland 100 km/h). Driving wheel diameter 1950 mm or 6.4 ft, weight in working order with tender 200 ton. The locomotive is operational for association "241 A 65" and based in Full/Argovie. Second locomotive is 4000 HP 4-8-2 241 P 17 of association "Les Chemins de Fer du Creusot", built in 1947 by Scheider, Le Creusot for the french SNCF, the driving wheel diameter is 2 metre (78,7 inch) and the maximum velocity 120 km/h (74,5 mph).
