Remarks & Notes

From 1970 onward, a feed mill at Manchester, CT, marked the end of trackage on the former New Haven RR Midland line between Hartford and Willimantic. A Penn Central RS-3m now working for Conrail swapped out cars there on a summer morning in 1976.
