| AMTK 510 leads Amtrak 782 south as it skirts the Pacific Ocean one final time before beginning to bank inland for Los Angeles. Once there, the 510 and two additional coaches will be cut off having served their purpose of assisting in passenger spikes following the closure of US 101. |
