Really glad I got a shot at the Storm lake Depot back in the day. Not sure when it came down, but the depot at Storm Lake is long gone. Back in 2005 we did a chased on the Cherokee Sub of a nice afternoon westbound local out of Fort Dodge. Don't think this was really common to get afternoon delights on the Cherokee Sub? The Cherokee Sub runs from Tara, IA, at MP 381, to Sioux City, IA, at MP 508, and Storm Lake is located at MP 428.
