Sunrise in McEwen. Sumpter Valley Railway's two steamers are ready for a new day of service on the line: Eccles Lumber Heisler #3, a wood-burning 2-trucker built in 1915, and Sumpter Valley Mikado #19, an oil-burning Alco built in 1920.
