The Joliet Rocket, led by NKP 765, has arrived into LaSalle Street Station. The exposed structural supports for the platform's canopy create an industrial form and shape that is reminiscent of Chicago industries in the 1940s. While the glass building in the background certainly wasn't built during the steam era, it's architecture, shape, and contrasting tones in black and white almost make the structure look natural in this scene.
